Description

Position Summary:
The Sales Development Executive plays a key role in advancing Empower’s mission by engaging with healthcare providers at the earliest stages of the customer journey. This role focuses on timely, professional follow-up to inbound interest, qualifying potential opportunities, conducting thoughtful discovery conversations, and introducing providers to Empower’s innovative pharmaceutical services. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, the Sales Development Executive ensures a seamless and informative experience that supports access to affordable, high-quality medication for 300 million people living healthier, happier lives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responds promptly to inbound inquiries from healthcare providers, ensuring a timely, high-touch experience that reflects Empower’s standards for service and clinical credibility.
  • Conducts discovery conversations to understand provider needs, prescribing behavior, and practice goals, determining fit and readiness for Empower’s services.
  • Introduces Empower’s core offerings—including 503A compounding and 503B outsourcing services—through consultative dialogue tailored to the provider’s specialty and patient population.
  • Documents outreach, qualification outcomes, and follow-up actions in Empower’s sales platform, maintaining pipeline visibility and supporting downstream sales efforts.
  • Collaborates with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless handoff and continuation of the provider experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • Maintains knowledge of Empower’s service lines, operational capabilities, and compliance requirements to effectively represent the company and answer early-stage questions.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication, listening, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage medical professionals in a consultative, respectful manner.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and digital communication tools; ability to manage multiple provider interactions with organization and professionalism.
