Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Manager of sales development at Workwize, you’ll play a dual role: driving your own business development efforts while coaching and mentoring a team of BDRs. You’ll be hands-on leading a team conducting outreach, qualifying leads, and leading discovery calls, while also providing guidance and support to your team members as they navigate their own client engagements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the tactical aspects of sales development and the rewarding experience of coaching others to success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coaching and Team Development:


    • Lead a team of BDRs, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and feedback.

    • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where team members can develop their skills and confidence.
    • Lead by example, sharing best practices and techniques that enhance team performance.
    • Strategic Outreach and Lead Generation:
    • Conduct strategic outbound outreach via calling, emailing, LinkedIn, and other activities to identify potential clients and generate leads.
    • A/B testing with new channels and methods to optimize outreach efforts, and automate successful approaches to increase efficiency.
    • Discover challenges and impact with prospects:
    • Identify high-potential leads by gauging purchase intent through website behavior, email clicks, and participation in relevant forums, groups, and events
    • Process Optimization and Insightful Communication:
    • Set up tests to explore new outreach channels and messaging strategies.
    • Analyze outcomes of tests and implement successful processes across the team.
    • Provide valuable insights and inputs to enhance outreach strategies and ensure effective communication with potential clients.
