EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years in Demand Generation or Inside Sales leadership roles, preferably managing early talent.
  • Proven track record of pipeline generation, progression, and conversion to bookings.
  • Experience in global, cross-functional team management.
  • Demonstrated ability to align strategy with execution across distributed teams.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring background with a focus on talent development.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • History of long, successful tenures and overachievement in high-growth environments.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

SALES DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – ROLE SUMMARY

The Digital Sales Development team drives high-quality customer engagement in the early stages of digital transformation, focusing on SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Business Data Cloud (BDC). The team builds and nurtures pipeline within SAP’s install base, turning prospects into qualified opportunities and accelerating revenue growth in alignment with Sales and Marketing.
As a Sales Development Manager, you will lead a team of Sales Development Executives (SDEs) to generate pipeline and create demand for SAP’s BTP/BDC solutions across industries. You’ll manage team performance, develop talent, and ensure operational excellence through data-driven decisions and best-in-class execution.
