We're looking for a Sales Development Manager to develop and lead our fantastic Sales Development team in the GitHub AMER region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering the best experience to our customers and developing a team of entry level sales professionals. This is a Hybrid position, required to go into the Microsoft office in Shinagawa Wednesdays and Thursdays for collaboration days. Responsibilities Manage a team of outbound Sales Development Representatives to exceed new pipeline targets within the assigned territory Provide leadership, development, and training to the Sales Development team Hire, onboard, retain, and promote amazing talent Prospecting strategy: help design and drive prospecting strategies within assigned territory, collaborating with cross-functional partners to execute pipeline building sprints and other prospecting strategies. Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators for a team of Outbound Sales Development Representatives Stakeholder management: Work collaboratively with cross functional partners, such as marketing, sales analytics, sales operations, and marketing operations, to optimize systems and workflows for peak output within the Sales Development organization Operations: Continuously optimize Sales Development processes, leveraging feedback from customers, prospects, Sales Dev reps, field reps, and internal partners Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications 6+ years experience in business development or sales OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business development or sales OR equivalent experience Fluent Japanese and Business-Level English speaking abilities Preferred Qualifications 8+ years experience in business development or sales OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business development or sales OR equivalent experience. 3+ years experience in computer science, software development, technology, or a related domain.
