Join our exciting sales development team Our Sales Development Team partners with Field and Inside Sales organization to guide the early stages of the sales cycle and assist with new customer acquisition. We work closely with the other teams to follow-up on campaigns and events to increase pipeline and generate demand for new customer revenue opportunities. Become a trusted advisor to customers As a Sales Development Representative, you will identify and qualify enterprise account sales leads and opportunities. You will focus on analyzing business needs by conducting information-gathering to pre-qualifying opportunities through phone, social and email contact. You will be generating outbound qualified leads for regional or international sales teams. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for: Identifying, prospecting and penetrating sales accounts to achieve pipeline and forecast goals Updating lead and prospect activity in salesforce to ensure KPI attainment Collaborating in a business-to-business sales environment to position our technology solutions to a varied audience Setting qualified introductory meetings for sales team and nurturing top of funnel pipeline to facilitate sales opportunities Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 2 years of relevant experience Demonstrate experience of selling within the sales cycle Have experience identifying business needs through information-gathering to pre-qualify opportunities Be comfortable speaking with decision makers via various mediums (social, email, phone and video) Have experience with Microsoft Office, Salesloft/Xant or Salesforce.com Enjoy working in a team and have a desire to grow in the organization Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world. For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $61,400 - $127,600/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
