Department: Sales & Business Development Reports To: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager Location: Barbados Supporting Regional Markets: Jamaica, St. Lucia, Barbados, Emerging Territories Role Summary We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive top-of-funnel pipeline creation through disciplined, high-volume outbound prospecting across regional markets. This role is heavily focused on cold outbound calling, identifying key decision-makers, qualifying prospects, and booking meetings for senior sales leaders. Prospecting is a core responsibility, and the successful candidate will be expected to continuously generate new opportunities by following up on leads and researching potential clients. The SDR is the first point of contact with prospective clients and must confidently articulate the company’s value proposition, solutions, and ethos to senior stakeholders across corporate, hospitality, retail, and government sectors. This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for a school leaver or someone with 1–2 years of experience who is articulate, ambitious, quick to learn, and eager to build a long-term career in sales. Key Responsibilities 1. Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation Execute high-volume outbound calling and prospecting activity across assigned regional markets Research and identify new leads and key decision-makers Deliver a clear, compelling elevator pitch to prospective clients Consistently follow the documented sales process for prospecting, qualification, and follow-up Balance speed, quality, and professionalism in a high-activity sales environment 2. Meeting Qualification & Booking Qualify prospects and book meetings for Business Development Executives and Managers Create and send meeting invitations and re-confirm attendance Prepare and share structured meeting notes to support seamless handover 3. Brand Representation & Value Communication Represent the company professionally and credibly at all times Clearly communicate products, solutions, and value outcomes Build trust quickly with senior stakeholders Continuously refine pitch delivery through coaching and feedback 4. CRM, Data & Process Discipline Log all calls, conversations, outcomes, and meetings in the CRM in real time Ensure all prospect data, meeting notes, and handovers are accurate and actionable Maintain strict adherence to the sales process and documentation standards5.
