Job Description We’re building the go-to-market team for Base44, an AI-powered software development platform recently acquired by Wix. As an early SDR hire to our US based sales team, you’ll be at the forefront of introducing a category-defining product to the market—driving top-of-funnel pipeline and opening doors with strategic accounts from the ground up. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is excited by the challenge of bringing innovative AI technology to new clients. You’ll play a foundational role in scaling our business by creating qualified opportunities, building trusted relationships, and fueling growth through a consultative, value-driven outreach approach. As our first SDR hire, you’ll help shape our prospecting motion, working closely with our founders, sales, and Wix leadership to bring this transformative technology to market. On a day-to-day basis, you will: Build and manage a high-velocity prospecting engine across outbound channels (email, phone, social) to generate qualified meetings Identify, research, and prioritize high-potential accounts and buyer personas across various business departments and seniority levels. Translate Base44’s product vision into clear, compelling outreach that resonates with technical and business audiences Qualify inbound interest to surface pain, fit, and urgency, and convert into high-quality pipeline Experiment with messaging, sequencing, and targeting to refine our early go-to-market motion Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align on ICP, narratives, and campaign execution Multi-thread into target accounts and nurture relationships with VPs, CTOs, and heads of product/engineering Maintain CRM excellence—track activity, manage pipeline hygiene, and deliver accurate activity and meeting forecasts Qualifications 2-4 years of B2B SDR/BDR experience in a technology company, preferably a startup Experience with AI, ML, data platforms, developer tools, or product-led SaaS is a plus Proven track record of exceeding activity and meeting targets, and generating qualified pipeline Fluent with modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot, Outreach/Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator); strong written and verbal communication Comfortable with cold calling, creative outbound, and tailoring messages to different audiences Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity in a high-growth environment Curious, coachable, creative, and energized by learning about AI and new technologies Additional Information We’re Base44, a newly acquired part of Wix, on a mission to change how software gets built. Our AI-powered platform allows anyone to create custom software applications using natural language—no traditional coding required. We operate like a startup within Wix: fast-moving, collaborative, and focused on solving complex problems with simple, elegant solutions. *** Approximate base compensation is $70,000 - $80,000. In addition to the base pay this role includes variable compensation earned and company RSUs as part of the compensation package.
