What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Sales Development Representative within our PayByPhone division. This position falls under our Fuel line of business and is located in Vancouver, Canada. In this role, you will work on top of the sales funnel to create and qualify leads for the North American Sales Team. Once a lead is qualified the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will set up an appointment and hand over to the appropriate Sales Director. This role will be splitting time between our two main product lines: Mobile Payments and PBP Business. You will report directly to Carmen Donnell and regularly collaborate alongside all teams within the NA Commercial organization.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Qualifying inbound sales inquiries to determine next steps and resources
  • Scheduling meetings and hand-off qualified prospects to appropriate sales team members
  • Retaining prospect and work to close win business
  • Nurturing opportunities in “fly over” market, to close
  • Creating targeting prospecting campaigns by reaching out by phone and email
  • Documenting and maintain prospect status, data integrity, and records of interactions in Salesforce
  • Managing national purchasing contracts such as NCPA
  • Partnering with Sales Directors to develop strategies to target prospects
  • Partnering with Client Success to develop strategies to target existing clients
  • Putting together reports and dashboards that visualize the activity of the Commercial team
  • Reporting monthly on KPIs regarding the pipeline, both new business and existing business
  • Comfortable learning and using software tools such as MS Office, Salesforce, Power Bi, Looker, etc.
  • Working to continuously improve the lead generation process and commercial team reports
  • Managing and administering Sales Team Confluence pages
  • Conducting targeted market research and document findings in Salesforce
  • Commercializing Team special projects as assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience in gathering information for reports
  • Able to gather information accurately and quickly from multiple sources
  • Experience with daily high-volume of outbound calling and emailing activities
  • Experience in similar software development environment would be highly regarded
  • Experience in generating Salesforce reports is an asset
  • Proven ability to learn new software programs and able to learn quickly
  • Expert in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Advanced Google research skills
  • Prior experience using Salesforce or other CRM
  • Prior experience using Power Bi or other analytics tools
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, account management or customer service
  • Demonstrated experience / projects
  • Post-secondary degree is an asset but not required

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $62,000 CAD - $67,000 CAD.
