Job Title:- Sales Development Representative Contract Duration:- 6 months contract inside IR35 (potential for extension) Salary / Day Rate:- Equivalent to £30,000 per year Job Description We are seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to work with our clients. The SDR will be responsible for finding potential customers who could benefit from our client’s products and services. We primarily work with SAAS and Tech companies, but our scope is expanding. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The SDR should be a quick learner who has strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a dynamic and compelling way. They should be able to see every potential customer as an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. Objectives of this role Represent the client’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how their solutions meet customer needs Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and pursue them through the sales lifecycle Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook Responsibilities Utilize Apollo, Hubspot, Cold Calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Email marketing campaigns to generate new sales opportunities through primarily outbound and some inbound outreach for an initial cold desk Correctly source and identify the needs of ideal prospects, through various methods of market mapping Identifying target customers, booking discovery calls, demonstrating product and supporting pipeline growth. Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through attending relevant business and networking events Owning life cycle from discovery calls to pilot / sale of product Maintaining accurate records on CRM Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results, following KPI’s. Learning and communicating value propositions effectively Essential skills, qualifications and experience (non-negotiables) Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets Experience working in; an agency sales / corporate sales / marketing Confidence in cold outreach, objection handling, and qualification Strong communication skills via phone / email / networking abilities Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills Strong desire and ability to progress within a sales organization Preferred skills and qualifications (not essential) Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas SAAS Sales Experience Must be based in the UK London office attendance expected 2-3 times a month Mon-Friday 9am – 5pm
