Sales Development Representative (Fintech – Payments & Fraud) Remote | Colombia, Argentina or Chile USD $2,000–$2,500/month base + commission on successful qualified meetings Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (contractor local time) Contract Type: International Independent Contractor About the Role At Latino Legends, we are partnering with a fast-growing fintech company that builds advanced fraud and risk intelligence solutions for digital businesses. Their platform helps fintechs, payment companies, and online platforms detect fraud, reduce false positives, and make better real-time decisions using modern data infrastructure and machine learning. The company is currently experiencing strong market demand across Latin America and North America, working with rapidly scaling fintechs and digital platforms that require sophisticated fraud prevention and risk analysis. As the company expands its presence in the Americas, they are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive pipeline growth and build relationships with key decision-makers across the fintech ecosystem. This role sits at the front line of revenue growth, engaging senior stakeholders at high-growth fintech companies and helping shape how the company positions its solution in the market. You will work closely with the VP of Go-To-Market Americas, collaborating with both Sales and Marketing to build a repeatable outbound motion and generate high-quality opportunities. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end outbound prospecting across LATAM (primarily) and North America. Conduct high-volume, high-quality cold calling to senior fintech decision-makers. Engage with C-level and senior leaders such as CTOs, CPOs, Heads of Risk, and COOs. Collaborate with Marketing to activate campaigns, follow up on inbound leads, and convert content and event engagement into pipeline. Handle common objections confidently, including topics such as false positives, ROI, and internal prioritization. Research accounts and personalize outreach based on market, vertical, and fraud use cases. Attend fintech events and industry conferences to generate new opportunities and build brand presence. Maintain clean and accurate CRM data and outbound sequences, continuously refining messaging based on call feedback. Consistently meet monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in tech sales, with a strong outbound focus. 2–3 years of experience in fintech, specifically within payments, fraud, risk, or related infrastructure. Proven cold calling mastery, particularly when engaging senior stakeholders. Advanced English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a strong plus. Experience using modern SDR tooling such as Clay, Instantly, Apollo, and CRM platforms. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable engaging C-level executives with credibility, structure, and confidence. Must have a passport or be willing to obtain one for occasional travel to industry events. Why This Role Is Exciting Join a high-growth fintech company expanding rapidly across the Americas. Play a foundational role in building regional pipeline and market presence. Gain exposure to enterprise fintech conversations and fast-scaling digital businesses. Work directly with senior GTM leadership and contribute to go-to-market strategy. Clear growth path toward Account Executive or strategic sales roles after 12–18 months of strong performance. Be part of a small, ambitious team with real momentum.
