SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR)

We’re a fast-growing tech startup on a mission to modernize how telco and construction companies build, scale, and secure their digital operations. From cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure to network automation and IoT integrations , our platform delivers practical IT solutions that drive real business outcomes.
We’re looking for an energetic, self-starting Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our small but mighty sales team. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape pipeline generation strategy and work directly with founders, engineers, and product leaders.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or related field .
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or business development , ideally in B2B IT or tech services.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • You are curious, tech-savvy, and genuinely excited by emerging technologies
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and autonomy — you take initiative and figure things out
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (spoken and written).
  • High energy, resilience, and a hunter’s mindset .
  • Understanding of the IT landscape , especially in telco infrastructure or construction digitization.
  • Familiarity with terms like cloud, cybersecurity, networking, IoT, and ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and productivity platforms (e.g., MS Office, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

BONUS SKILLS (PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY)

  • Prior experience working with clients in the telco or construction sectors .
  • Basic knowledge of construction IT tools (e.g., BIM, project management systems) or telco platform (OSS/BSS) .
  • Experience in a fast-paced tech startup or systems integrator environment.
  • Bonus if you’ve sold to, or worked with, construction or telecom companies
Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities in the telco and construction industries.
  • Develop and execute outbound campaigns via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn , and events.
  • Qualify leads based on pain points, business needs, and budget/timeline fit.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and progress in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) .
  • Collaborate with marketing for campaign alignment and content personalization.
  • Keep updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and relevant regulatory developments.
  • Support RFI/RFP processes and pre-sales coordination for key accounts.
  • Be an active voice in shaping our go-to-market motion and building a scalable SDR process
