Do you thrive on building relationships and generating new business? Entrust is looking for a talented Sales Development Representative to join our Data Protection Solutions team in Japan. In this role, you'll be instrumental in generating high-quality sales opportunities and building our sales pipeline in the Japan market. You'll take the lead on qualifying and managing incoming marketing leads and actively reaching out to target prospects. Working closely with our external sales, marketing, and channel teams, you will use a variety of tools like Outreach, Cognism, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to connect with potential customers via email, social media, and phone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual to contribute directly to our growth in a key market while learning and developing valuable sales skills. Key Responsibilities Research, identify, and engage with new prospects using our lead generation tools. Qualify and manage inbound marketing leads from various demand generation campaigns. Effectively communicate and articulate the value of Entrust's Data Protection Solutions. Analyze customer data security needs to identify and create opportunities for our products. Support the sales team in the follow-up and closing of opportunities. Collaborate with our marketing team on campaigns and activities. Work with channel partners to generate leads and develop new business. Team up with sales and marketing to maximize prospect potential. What We're Looking For Experience: 1+ years of sales or business development experience. Language Skills: You must be a fluent speaker of both Japanese and English. IT Industry Knowledge: Experience in the IT industry, with a preference for those who have sold cybersecurity products to IT departments and management. Proven Performer: A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding personal and team sales quotas. Sales Acumen: Experience in prospecting and qualifying leads. Relationship Builder: You're comfortable building client relationships over the phone, email, and LinkedIn. Proficiency: You're skilled with standard corporate tools like Microsoft Office and have strong email and web search skills. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
