Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As a Sales Development Representative for the APAC region, you’ll play a vital role in executing Megaport’s inbound and outbound sales strategies to support the continued growth and scale of our business across Asia Pacific.
You’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, qualifying inbound leads and generating new opportunities through targeted outbound outreach. You’ll also contribute to building and refining sales processes, bringing creativity and energy to a high-performing regional team.
While we are open to flexibility in location across the APAC region, this role is ideally based in hybrid arrangement at our Brisbane Headquarters.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with potential customers across Phone, Email, LinkedIn, and Video to qualify interest and create new business opportunities.
  • Manage inbound leads from marketing campaigns, qualifying them and booking discovery calls with Sales Executives.
  • Identify new prospects aligned with Megaport’s ideal customer profile and run targeted outbound prospecting to generate pipeline.
  • Use tools like Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and UserGems to research, track, and manage your outreach.
  • Understand Megaport’s solutions and communicate their value to both technical and business stakeholders across APAC.
  • Collaborate with regional Sales Executives and POD teams to support pipeline growth and regional revenue goals.
  • Monitor and engage in real-time conversations via live chat on our website.
  • Maintain clean, up-to-date CRM records to ensure sales visibility and alignment.
  • Partner with Marketing to execute demand generation campaigns and invite prospects to APAC events and webinars.
  • Track and report on key metrics weekly—leads worked, meetings booked, and pipeline created.
  • Participate in regular coaching and enablement to continuously build your skills and accelerate your sales career.
