MHW Live Music is the hospitality industry’s leading curator & manager of entertainment programming, and is rapidly expanding as a nationwide provider of private event entertainment for corporate events and social events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–2 years of inside sales, telemarketing, customer outreach, or call-center experience preferred (entry-level candidates with the right energy encouraged to apply).
  • Preference for candidates with live music, entertainment, or hospitality industry experience.
  • Comfortable making high call volumes daily and motivated by activity-based goals.
  • Strong communication skills (phone and email), with an energetic and engaging personality.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and excited to grow in a sales career.
  • Must thrive in an in-office, team-oriented environment (remote work not available).
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly energetic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new private event bookings. This is a classic outbound sales role, focused on high-volume calling, emailing, and diligent follow-up with our curated list of private event contacts. The SDR’s mission is to generate new leads, schedule qualified meetings, and secure a client’s first booked event with our Private Event Sales Manager.
Once the first event is booked, the relationship transitions to the Sales Manager, and the SDR moves forward to cultivate the next opportunity. This position is ideal for someone early in their sales career who thrives in a fast-paced, call-heavy environment and is excited by hitting daily and weekly activity goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make 500+ outbound calls per week to targeted private event contacts.
  • Conduct proactive outreach via phone, email, and follow-up sequences to generate interest and secure appointments.
  • Qualify prospects and set up introductory meetings with the Private Event Sales Manager.
  • Track all activity, leads, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Consistently follow up with prospects to maximize conversion into booked events.
  • Collaborate closely with the Private Event Sales Manager to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads after the first event is booked.
  • Maintain energy, positivity, and urgency in a call-driven sales environment.
