We are seeking a talented, energetic and results-oriented professional to take on a role as Sales Development Representative (SDR).

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • A University degree in Science, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.
  • Self-starter, results oriented, extremely tenacious, well organized.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to succeed / Willing to learn and be coached.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Excited about an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment.
  • Previous B2B sales experience is preferred
  • Sales involving scientific software or services is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent market research to identify new leads/prospects
  • Reach out to contacts and initiate sales conversations by email, LinkedIn, phone and/or in person
  • Articulate the business value proposition to decision-makers to assess buying interest
  • Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments to new prospects
  • Develop periodic outbound email-marketing campaigns
  • Continuously innovate outreach strategies by incorporating data-driven insights, optimizing messaging, utilizing social media platforms, and aligning with broader digital marketing initiatives
  • Represent the company at conferences and tradeshows
