This is a remote position. SUMMARY The Sales Development Representative plays a foundational role in fueling the company's regional growth and market expansion by serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients. This role is responsible for prospecting, cold calling, and cultivating leads to generate high-quality sales opportunities and is key to the overall sales process. The ideal candidate is a metric-motivated inside sales professional with a fearless attitude, a natural ability to overcome objections, and a proven track record of achieving high-volume outbound call metrics and appointment setting goals. Success in this role requires a high-energy, self-starter attitude, excellent communication and persuasive skills, and a commitment to maintaining an accurate lead database and leveraging CRM technology to drive the sales pipeline. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct cold calls to potential clients to introduce our solutions and services. Schedule appointments with qualified leads for our sales team to further discuss their needs and how their solutions can meet them. Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate lead information and call outcomes. Achieve key performance indicators: 80+ calls per day to decision makers; 3-5 first time appointments per week, etc. Own the lead cultivation process-responsible for building our database. Ability to engage decision makers in conversation and deliver our message. Effectively use contact management technology. (Hub Spot, Microsoft Office Tools.) Requirements QUALIFICATIONS At least 2 years experience in business to business cold calling outbound sales is required. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade. A self-starter attitude with the discipline to work effectively in a hybrid setting. Mission-driven personality including self-management and motivation Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Fearless attitude - ability to overcome objections without giving up. Metric motivated and driven to achieve goals. Previous outbound call and lead generation experience. Excited about how technology solutions can help any business. JOB REQUIREMENTS Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement. Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
