The Role: We are seeking a process-driven and competitive Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the President and outbound sales team in direct outreach to strategic prospects, qualifying new leads and developing a network within the industry.
Our Company: Setpoint is an energy-focused Build Automation System (BAS) provider. We specialize in the design, implementation and service of Reliable Controls BAS systems. From new installations, retrofits and preventive maintenance, Setpoint is a full-service BAS provider for our customers all across the GTA and surrounding areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A healthy competitive mindset
  • An interest in energy efficiency, HVAC or Building Automation
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and skills
  • Basic understanding of HVAC/BAS or a related field is preferred but not required.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year + Uncapped Commission (On Target Earnings of $90,000)

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to identify strategic prospects to target across the Commercial, Institutional, Industrial and Multi-family markets
  • Direct outreach through a combination of e-mail and phone calls to secure an initial meeting with qualified prospects
  • Manage outreach workflow and new opportunities through a CRM tool
  • Work closely with the outbound sales team to support their sales efforts
