Responsibilities

BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THIS ROLE AT SITEMATE:

We are looking for a Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Toronto team, to help accelerate our growth in the North American region.

  • This role would be great for you if you’ve already had some SDR/BDR experience and are looking to progress. Our inbound lead flow is constant, a dream for any SDR.
  • Alternatively, if you have studied anything business-related, and are looking to start your professional career. Maybe you’ve had some casual sales, marketing or business experience whilst studying, and you’re looking to go full-time, if this is you please also get in touch!
  • You will have opportunities such as reporting to our GTM Lead and working with the local team, as well as collaborating directly with our senior leadership team.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS IN THIS ROLE?

  • You will be qualifying and routing inbound leads through two channels; self service & inside sales
  • You’ll be spending most of your time with prospects across phone calls, emails and live chat on our website, as well as internal tools like slack and salesforce.
  • Your quota is measured by the number of demonstrations booked and completed at the subsequent stage of the process. Our current team in this role have achieved >=95% of their targets each month since starting.

WHAT WILL BE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGES FOR ME IN THIS ROLE?

  • Learning about the built world if you haven’t had any exposure to it - there are a lot of different types of companies and plenty of new terminologies to learn.
  • Up-skilling your call/phone and email skills - although we have plenty of examples for you to learn from during your onboarding.
  • Understanding SaaS financial acronyms and common terminology - if you have not worked in a SaaS company before, there is going to be a lot of metrics to learn. This cheat sheet is a good resource: The Ultimate SaaS Acronyms Cheat Sheet
  • We move very quickly, so you’ll need to be excited to come in and learn extremely fast.
