About The Role The Sales Director Americas role is based out of Kaiko’s New York office, with necessary regional travels. \n The Challenge Build a growing and dynamic client pipeline for the Americas markets, generate opportunities (inbound and outbound) by identifying, contacting, qualifying prospects. Help to develop a sales strategy which supports Kaiko’s business goals. Develop a territory with a diverse range of key target organizations and growing new opportunities in the market. Meet and exceed ARR booking quotas. Close deals valued between $50,000 and $200,000 per year (although if you want to aim higher we certainly won’t stop you!). Actively participate in closing complex opportunities in collaboration with Kaiko team members and develop an extensive partner network, building effective relationships across the target landscape and across the broader ecosystem. Support marketing campaigns and participate in activities such as client days, conferences and events. Effective coordination with the Kaiko global sales team, and operations, product, engineering, and legal teams to execute and meet sales objectives. About you Minimum 5+ years of experience selling financial products and evidence of your success. Familiarity with SaaS and Market Data products, including the challenges involved. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue quotas. Ability to listen carefully, understand needs and build trusted relationships, including at senior executive level in large complex organisations. Ability to negotiate calmly and effectively and help customers close a deal. Excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as being able to explain concepts and user stories with confidence. Natural storytelling ability to weave a narrative of Kaiko’s solution into a client’s daily life. Self-motivated and organised with a personal commitment to succeed. Mandatory language skills: English (fluent). Located in the New York region, ability to commute to Kaiko’s NY office. Nice to have 2+ years of experience working in the Digital Asset ecosystem. Understanding of traditional market dynamics (equities, commodities, structured products, etc.) and the key players involved. Experience landing new logos in banks, asset managers, hedge funds, exchanges, insurance companies, fintechs and other financial intermediaries. Examples of growing sales across groups or business lines within an organization. Experience with sales process models such as MEDDIC and challenger sales. Experience planning and executing on strategies related to conferences (sponsored and ticketed) and demonstrating ROI. Another language (Spanish, French, etc.).
