Job Summary Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Sales Director, Asia Pacific will lead Okeanos’ growth strategy across the region. This role is central to expanding the reach of our Made From Stone™ technology in one of our most important markets, driving adoption with compounders, manufacturers, and brand owners who share our urgency to reduce plastic waste and CO₂ emissions. This leader will be responsible for revenue growth in the region, developing and executing the commercial strategy, and nurturing key client relationships. They will manage and grow a regional team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and serve as a visible ambassador for Okeanos’ mission and solutions at industry events and with customers.  Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute a Asia Pacific sales strategy aligned with Okeanos’ global objectives and mission. * Drive growth by identifying, securing, and expanding partnerships with compounders, converters, manufacturers, and brand owners. * Build and manage strong, trust-based relationships with customers across multiple sectors, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. * Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing regional sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and mission alignment. * Monitor regulatory, competitive, and customer trends to anticipate opportunities and risks, and adjust strategy accordingly. * Partner with technical sales, operations, product, and marketing teams to deliver seamless solutions and measurable results to customers. * Deliver accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reporting to the CEO and executive team. * Represent Okeanos at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings, positioning Made From Stone™ as the leading sustainable packaging solution. Qualifications  * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. * 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles in Asia Pacific. * Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving sustained growth. * Experience in packaging, materials, or industrial solutions industries; knowledge of sustainable packaging trends and regulations is a strong plus. * Strong client network in consumer goods, CPG, packaging, or related sectors. * Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. * Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a nimble, scaling organization * Willingness to travel extensively across the region (up to 50%). * Fluent in English and Japanese. Multilingual ability is highly desirable.  Technical Skills * Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and resolve complex pre-sales technical problems.  * Proficiency in sales forecasting, market analysis, and data-driven decision making * Strong financial acumen and ability to leverage data to drive commercial decisions. * Expertise in CRM and sales management tools * Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams across multiple regions or divisions Management Skills * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. * Excellent judgment and decision-making Okeanos Group, LLC, its subsidiaries, joint ventures, and partners are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
