Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead our sales operations across a defined geographic country/region within the plastics packaging industry. This senior role is responsible for driving revenue and margin growth, managing high-performing sales teams, and building strong relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to lead complex sales initiatives in a competitive and sustainability-driven market. Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales managers and account executives across multiple territories. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships. Oversee key account negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, operations, supply chain) to deliver tailored packaging solutions. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions. Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting using CRM tools. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred). 8+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within the plastics or packaging industry Experience of P&L responsibility. Strong knowledge of plastic packaging materials (e.g., PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP) and manufacturing processes. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large accounts. Experience in leading regional or multi-country sales teams. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
