Ericsson also does not hire F-1's working on EAD for this position. About this opportunity: We are helping a major tier 1 customer start their 5G journey. Do you have experience selling or supporting a sales team responsible for Core and Service Assurance solutions? Do you have experience building and maintaining relationships with operators? As a sales Director, you will secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development. You will lead efforts and collaboration, both internal and external, to actively contribute to making our customers successful What you will do: Join a team with established relationships at a large tier 1 customer Help our customer transform the way it builds and manages their advanced data networking services by using big data analytics, deep networking expertise and leading-edge computing technologies Have access to our commercially ready 5G portfolio Position and sell our Core and Service Assurance Solutions Identifying critical customer needs through consultative customer engagement to generate sales opportunities Conduct product/solution presentation and demonstration to articulate value propositions Leveraging Key Account Manager resources (e.g. Marketing, Technical Support), local market resources, the business units in headquarters and potentially external partners. Participating in the VP & KAM team in developing business plans and new sales initiatives. Create, maintain and leverage trust-based relationships with relevant customer interfaces Thought leadership in the areas of communication evolution, virtualization, cloud, and analytics The Skills you bring: Degree in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication and MBA (Master in Business Administration or similar) Experience selling Ericsson's Core and Assurance solutions. plus. Minimum two years of project execution and delivery experience Strong sales and delivery experience Experience with SDN, NFV and Cloud Environments Understanding of Mobile technologies (3G, 4G/LTE, 5G) Good understanding of cloud native 5G core. Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. The salary range for this position is Washington: $158,400 - $198000 Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Your Health Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents. Your Financial Security We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
