The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth across the Malaysia hospitality market by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting D-EDGE’s technology and digital marketing solutions to hotels and hospitality groups. You should be comfortable managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and client meetings to proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing deals. This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with regional and global teams. A successful candidate should have a strong background in hospitality, hotel technology, digital marketing, or SaaS sales, with the ability to understand client needs and position value-driven solutions. Responsibilities Meet country sales targets for new business acquisition and recurring revenue growth Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with D-EDGE’s commercial objectives in Malaysia Run a proactive and disciplined prospecting strategy to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities Identify, prioritise, and acquire new hotel clients through cold calls, networking, client visits, events, and social selling Conduct discovery meetings to understand client business needs and challenges Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals Lead negotiations and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing Prepare financial proposals and business models for strategic opportunities Bring expertise to clients on D-EDGE products, solutions, and the hotel distribution ecosystem Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline activity in Salesforce CRM Research, consolidate, and document competitive intelligence and market insights Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the right solutions are delivered to clients and support issue resolution when needed Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring the best possible customer experience Represent D-EDGE as the primary point of contact for existing accounts in Malaysia Support ad hoc commercial projects when required 🦸‍♂️ WHAT YOU’LL BRING Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management Experience in hospitality, hotel technology, revenue management, distribution, SaaS, or digital marketing industries Strong commercial mindset with a sales-driven approach Good understanding of the hotel distribution ecosystem Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint Tech-savvy and able to quickly adapt to new platforms and technologies Strong communication and presentation skills Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced and international environment Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia Additional Asian language skills will be considered a plus Recruitment Process: HR Screening Interview with VP Sales APAC Interview with MD Growth & Opportunity Successful candidates will have the opportunity to grow within D-EDGE's commercial team.
