This role works with senior management to implement a sales plan for short and long term targets, develop and close leads successfully, and implement a marketing strategy for the company. The Sales Director will develop and report on sales KPI’s, maintain company integrity throughout the process and develop the sales team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE:
· Post secondary diploma or degree is preferred; ideally in manufacturing technology, engineering, business administration and marketing. However, degree or diploma is not required for a candidate with the right experience and attitude.
· Experience in a senior sales position in an OEM environment.
· Comfortable with value add and consultative sales.
· Excel at closing B2B sales.
· Proven leadership.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
· Proficient in all MS Office applications.
· Ability to travel internationally; valid passport; driver’s license

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

· Ensure customers receive best in class service from the sales team and the Company.
· Maintain and expand the Company’s relationship with current customers.
· Respond to customer enquiries and develop quotations;
o Coordinate customer bids and proposals;
o Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements;
o Develop relationships with new customers; perform outreach into new industries
· Develop and execute sales plan and forecast;
o Develop the Company’s sales tracking, monitoring and new account targeting systems.

· Create marketing materials and marketing strategy:
o Keep abreast of developments in the industry to provide input on strategic market direction;
o Identify key competitor and customer contacts;

o Plan, manage and execute trade shows;

o Promote product specifications to end users;
o In conjunction with the Chief Engineer, prepare and present technical seminars to clients.
