QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, with a proven track record in selling complex solutions to private equity firms or institutional investors. Experience in deal sourcing, M&A advisory, or financial technology is highly desirable.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of the private equity investment process, including deal sourcing.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives and senior investment professionals.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Sales Director at Finquest, you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and relationship building, to deal closure and ensuring post-sale success. You will engage with senior investment professionals at top-tier private equity firms across North America, uncovering opportunities, articulating Finquest’s unique value proposition and driving adoption of our bespoke deal sourcing solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Full Sales Cycle: Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with private equity funds and their portfolio companies, managing the entire sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and supporting project delivery.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including Managing Directors, Investment Directors, and Corporate Development teams, to understand their investment strategies and sourcing needs.
  • Diagnostic Selling Approach: Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover each prospective client’s unique investment strategy, sourcing challenges, and portfolio objectives. Leverage these insights to tailor and present Finquest’s AI-powered deal sourcing platform, demonstrating how our proprietary data, technology, process and people can directly address their specific needs and enhance their deal flow.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position Finquest’s solutions and identify new business opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of Finquest’s North American operations.
