Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • The candidate should have a Growth Mindset, be proactive, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Passionate for technology within the media ecosystem.
  • Good at building relationships both internal and external
  • Sense of urgency: hungry for the next deal and closing current deals as quickly as possible
  • Track record 5+ years of executive level strategic sales combined with exceptional tactical execution.
  • Exceptional executive poise, communication, leadership, presentation, time management, multi-tasking and organization skills.
  • An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and cross functional teams in product, content, tech, legal, finance, and customer experience.

NATIVE GERMAN SPEAKER.

  • Multiple language skills are a bonus.
  • Sales Force or equivalent is a critical component of the role as it’s used dynamically for forecasting and reporting.
  • Travel availability is expected.

Responsibilities
  • Own the German and surrounding territory for the commercial team:
  • Possess and share intimate market knowledge on the content and entertainment market trends. Knowledge of the content distribution technology would be appreciated.
  • Map, define and clearly understand the region with potential and existing customers and build winning strategies in a competitive landscape.
  • Build strong partnerships with clients, at multiple levels before and after sales cycles.
  • Primary focus is to grow Germany and surrounding territory:
  • Win new customers to the company portfolio.
  • Develop and expand current client relationships and spending through consultative sales processes.
  • Implement new product offerings and identify and win alternative use cases for GN solutions.
  • Improve profitability.
