As the Sales Director you will be responsible for selling Tryzens’ portfolio of digital commerce services into the retail sector. This includes developing and maintaining a target list of potential clients, outbound prospecting to develop a pipeline of opportunities, creating proposals, pitching to potential new clients and closing new business for the company.
The Sales Director should have a strong understanding of digital commerce and a proven track record driving end-to-end sales processes from initiation to closure. While Tryzens has experienced rapid growth in ANZ, the culture remains entrepreneurial so someone who is self-motivated with high energy will be best suited to this exciting role.
You will likely have an agency, professional service Sales/BD or CX tech sales background and have been working with the retail/consumer goods industry. A key requirement is to work collaboratively with our platform partners to identify, plan and execute the pursuit of opportunity in the market.

KNOWLEDGE SHARING, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

  • Take personal responsibility for staying informed and up to date with industry trends and themes.
  • Work closely with Tryzens’ client services, operations, technical and implementation teams to demonstrate our credentials and expertise in new business engagements and pitches.
  • Contribute to the learning environment by identifying areas where there is potential for learning and building knowledge with others.
  • Adopt the performance management scheme by setting objectives, participating in performance reviews and building a personal development plan.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of consultative selling and consistently meeting sales targets.
  • A comprehensive understanding of digital and e-commerce solutions.
  • Experience responding to formal RFIs & RFPs for large brand & retail businesses.
  • Experience selling to the C-suite, together with Heads of E-Commerce and Marketing.
  • Experience working with software vendors and other 3rd parties to develop and close collaborative and coordinated sales campaigns.
  • Experience developing effective tactical marketing strategies to support pipeline development.
  • An understanding of CRM solutions for lead generation and sales pipeline management.
