Description Commercial CO2 Sales Engineer – Cooling and Refrigeration Industry We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Commercial CO2 Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in the cooling and refrigeration industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in sustainable cooling technologies while building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, sales acumen, and a passion for environmentally friendly refrigeration systems. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies to promote CO2-based cooling and refrigeration solutions to commercial clients. - Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts within the industry. - Provide technical consultation and support to clients regarding product specifications, system design, and application suitability. - Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and industry standards. - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable sales agreements. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in CO2 refrigeration. - Ensure customer satisfaction through timely follow-up, technical support, and after-sales service. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field. - Proven experience in sales or technical support within the cooling and refrigeration industry, preferably with CO2 systems. - Strong understanding of refrigeration cycle principles, CO2 refrigeration technology, and industry standards. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze technical data and develop customized solutions for clients. - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed. Requirements Decision-making and leadership competencies: - Exhibit ability to develop high quality relationships based on trust and integrity with the appropriate customer contacts to drive growth - Outstanding interpersonal, communication, team skills, intercultural understanding - Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently Job specification/expertise: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. - 3 to 5 years of account management experience and new business development experience - 2 to 3 years of sales management experience - Experience working with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and global account management - Ability to grasp and understand technical functions of products - Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and equipment drawings as it relates to the company’s products - Demonstrated experience in negotiating and meeting client requirements - Demonstrated knowledge of business principles from multiple disciplines to include forecasting, supply management, inventory management, order management and distribution - Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ERP, CRM systems and project management software. - Willingness to travel up to 50% Special requirements: - Familiarity with commercial refrigeration systems within the manufacturing and retail industries - Highly motivated with a desire to succeed in a fast paced, performance driven industry - Strong desire to work in a team-oriented environment. Physical requirements: - Must be able to walk/move about a 144,000 sq ft manufacturing facility: 30% of the time - Must be able to stand/walk/move about specific work area: 50% of the time - Must be able to bend/reach/twist/stoop: 15% of the time - Must be able to lift up to 15lbs on a frequent basis: 10% of the time - Must be able to lift over 15lbs on an infrequent basis: 10% of the time - Must be able to work and operate a computer: 90% of the time - Vision is required to analyze and process work; and to work on computers and other office equipment - Hearing is essential for safety reasons; and to communicate with employees, supervisors, managers, vendors, suppliers and customers via conversation, group meetings, and/or phone conferences - Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
