Description:
Job Title: Sales Engineer
Location: United Arab Emirates
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of our products and solutions, leveraging technical expertise to provide value to clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects of our products, strong sales capabilities, and the ability to build long-lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic market.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales engineering or technical sales, within the UAE market.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge with the ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Experience in managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions clearly and effectively to clients.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver effective, customized solutions to client needs.
- Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with UAE business culture and the ability to interact effectively with multi-national teams.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, and other sales-related tools. Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD is a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the UAE market, particularly in industries such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial solutions.
- Fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Relevant technical certifications or project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Lead the sales process by identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and expanding relationships with existing clients in the UAE market.
- Technical Consultation and Solution Design: Provide technical consultation to customers, delivering customized product solutions based on their business needs. Develop and present proposals that meet both the technical and financial requirements of the client.
- Product Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct detailed product presentations, demos, and workshops, showcasing product features, benefits, and technical specifications to customers.
- Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads, prepare accurate quotations, and provide technical insights aligned with customer requirements.
- Post-Sales Support and Project Management: Ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions to clients. Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities within the UAE market to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and opportunities. Provide regular reports and forecasts to management on sales performance and market trends.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of solutions that meet customer expectations.
- International Travel: Travel outside the UAE to conduct client meetings, present solutions, attend trade shows, or support clients with project implementation as needed.
