Description

United Gulf is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to lead our Sales and Rental Operations, collaborate with our service and operations teams and maintain high levels of customer retention. Ideal candidates will have industry experience in heavy equipment and machinery, with a specialization in Aerial Work Platforms (AWPs), Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), Telehandlers and Truck-Mounted Boom Lifts.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within the AWPs/Heavy Equipment and Machinery industry in OMAN.
  • Demonstrated success in selling and renting Aerial Work Platforms, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Telehandlers and Truck-Mounted Boom Lifts.
  • Oman/GCC Driving License Mandatory.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in OMAN Market dynamics and trends.

    Pay: RO400.000 - RO700.000 per month

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement effective sales & rental strategies to drive revenue growth for Aerial Work Platforms, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Scissor Lift, Spider Lift, Boom Lifts, Telehandlers and Truck-Mounted Boom Lifts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively engage with UG Service and Operations teams to maintain customer retention.
  • Maintain detailed records of all existing and upcoming projects.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs and competitive landscape. Use insights to adjust strategies and expand UG’s market presence.
  • Handle key accounts as assigned by the BM, ensuring effective management and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics and prepare regular reports for management. Adjust tactics based on performance data to achieve targets.
