POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and support in the industrial HVAC sector. This role combines sales acumen with engineering knowledge to meet customer needs and promote HVAC solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential customers in the industrial HVAC market.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized HVAC solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer in the HVAC industry, particularly with industrial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of hydronic and steam systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into customer benefits.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
