JOB DESCRIPTION

Danfoss is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Engineer to develop and manage Food Retail segment & HORECA for Chile, Perú and Bolivia.
The preferred candidate should have sales experience in B2B focused on End Users to attend strategic accounts based in Santiago, Chile.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Engineer with technical background with solid commercial skills.
  • Solid knowledge in commercial refrigeration in the Food Retail segment and Co2 systems.
  • Knowledge in System Management, gateways, pack controllers, communication protocols and monitoring systems for commercial refrigeration is desirable.
  • 5 years or more experience in Food Retail business, dealing with designers, installers, OEM, and end users.
  • Experience with opportunity management for project sales.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment dealing with different products type on sale opportunity.
  • Experience with Value Selling and Spin Selling approach.
  • Proficient level of English.
  • Knowledge to use MS Office package and Sales Force (CRM).

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Management of the existing customer portfolio ensuring the highest level of service to create customer loyalty.
  • Support end users in bidding process.
  • Development of new customers based on potential evaluation.
  • Drive business growth creating a robust and very active mid & long-term pipeline in synergy with application engineer team.
  • Share opportunities with peers on a Monthly base.
  • Provide solutions to end users, promote product launches and product lead times.
  • Ensure analyses and problem solving in time with the support of Customer Service Center.
  • Create networking with end users and OEM customers key decision makers at all levels as well on market stakeholders to understand market needs and create value selling.
  • Active to the market trends and project pipeline.
  • Develop new kind of business and keep Focus in IoT services.
