JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Datacentre Application and Specification Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in battery / UPS solutions tailored for datacentre applications, providing the right specifications with solutions, and application engineering to drive product adoption and sales. The role requires engagement with customers, consultants and system solution partners with strong abilities to ensure the successful implementation of battery solutions.

PREREQUISITES AND FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional experiences of specifying in the electrical engineering industry products with good understanding of UPS (AC/DC) and batteries and datacentre power applications.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and support.

o Knowledge of datacentre infrastructure, including power distribution and redundancy planning.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Exposure to international regulations governing battery installations in mission-critical environments.
• Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory) related to datacentre
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and internal teams .
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.

• Develop and provide product specifications based on datacentre power backup requirements.
• Conduct analysis for battery backup solution and Evaluate site conditions and offer for various datacentre configurations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for batteries in datacentres.
• Deliver presentations, training, technical workshops and presentations for customer projects to educate clients on product capabilities.
• Collaborate with customers, consultants to understand their power needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams support in product positioning.
• Support marketing activities including product launches, pricing analysis, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product development.
