Responsibilities
  • Support of an existing Business partner base (distributors and resellers) and development of new customers (regular customer visits, 10-20% travel)
  • Maintenance of the CRM system and associated reporting of incoming orders
  • Intensive observation and analysis of the market, competition and trends with derivation of strategic sales activities. Development and solution of strategic challenges, e.g. with regard to target customers or key growth strategies.
  • Promoting important initiatives and following up with sales partners
  • Analyzing customer needs and developing solution/production concepts with the partner and the respective specialist departments
  • Working with development departments in relation to new and further developments
  • Contact person for business partners in relation to all welding technologies
  • Processing customer specifications and creating internal project requests
  • Checking calculations, preparing offers, negotiating offers with the business partner and checking orders/contracts (including NDAs and customer contracts until they are ready for signature)
  • Working with the technical specialist departments, supporting business partners to ensure that projects run smoothly.
  • Supporting trade fairs and organizing or conducting training courses
  • Screening customers and end customers for trade compliance (embargo countries)
