Description

Safety World is looking for a highly experienced and results-oriented Sales Engineer to drive business development and manage sales for fire detection and protection systems in the Abu Dhabi region. We need a candidate with a strong network and in-depth knowledge of UAE Civil Defence regulations to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

You will lead and manage project and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) sales of fire alarm and firefighting systems. This role involves handling technical sales meetings, developing relationships with MEP contractors, consultants, and main contractors, and achieving sales targets. A key part of your job will be staying updated on UAE fire and safety codes and participating in market tenders to identify new business opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (UAE attested is mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of UAE experience in Project and AMC sales for fire protection systems is a must.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record of closing firefighting system projects and meeting sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Defence rules and safety codes.
  • An existing network with MEP contractors and consultants in the region is essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Languages: Proficiency in both English and Hindi, Arabic, or Urdu is mandatory for effective communication with our diverse workforce and stakeholders.
  • Other:
  • A valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License is required.
  • Must be currently available in the UAE and ready to attend face-to-face interviews.
Responsibilities
  • Lead sales efforts for fire protection systems, including project and AMC sales.
  • Conduct independent technical sales meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders in the Abu Dhabi region.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets in coordination with the sales and technical teams.
  • Stay current with UAE Civil Defence regulations and market trends.
  • Actively track and participate in market tenders and project leads.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support the sales pipeline.
  • Communicate with decision-makers to strengthen our market position.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to help the team achieve its goals.
