SALES ENGINEER FOR VMWARE

To compliment this dynamic team, we are currently looking for a Sales Engineer for VMware in our Bucharest, Romania Office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Pre and post sales activities based on VMware vendor portfolio.
• Remote and on-site Ingram Micro partner support
• Provides technical leadership and direction to channel partners and sales staff with pre-sales activities in the assigned market on behalf Ingram Micro’s supplier VMware
• Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on VMware solutions including vSphere, cloud foundations, advanced security, containers, orchestration, private AI, and workload automation with an understanding of competitive offerings in the modern data center
• Acts as technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned channel partners and their end users
• Makes technical and sales presentations to channel partner’s technical and sales staff
• Lead partners through technical specification requirements and solution positioning
• Learning and facilitating VMware oriented courses for Ingram Micro valuable partner
• Participate in preparing technical solutions and design with Senior Engineers

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 8 years of experience in IT technologies
• At least 3-year experience working with products from specified vendor portfolio.
• Ability to communicate effectively within business environment.
• Solid knowledge and experience with VMware virtualization platform and product portfolio
• Ability to conduct effective group presentations and/or trainings
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Having vendor certification will be an advantage.
• University diploma with Technical Background will be an advantage.
