Role Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated and coachable Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This is an early-career role designed for someone who thrives on competition, loves solving problems, and is excited about building a long-term career in technical sales. You’ll start by learning the ins and outs of our systems, supporting Senior Sales Engineers, and gradually growing into a trusted Senior Sales Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Sales Engineers in managing customer accounts and quoting systems
  • Assist with lead generation, opportunity tracking, and CRM data management
  • Participate in sales forecasting and proposal development
  • Learn to identify new market opportunities and support product launch efforts
  • Shadow senior sales reps and attend internal/external technical meetings
  • Progress toward individual and team sales goals with mentorship and guidance

Accountabilities:

  • Build foundational technical sales skills through active project involvement
  • Support accurate proposals and timely responses to customer inquiries
  • Develop customer relationships through site visits, Lunch N Learns, and plant tours
  • Learn how to secure capital projects and contribute to company growth

Daily & Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day customer communications and project tracking
  • Balance multiple sales priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel as needed for client engagement (10–30%)
  • Continuously build knowledge of industry trends and customer needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (required)
  • 1–3 years of professional experience (internships/co-ops welcome)
  • Interest in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with curiosity and a drive to learn
  • Willingness to travel and gain real-world experience
