Coordinate quoting and service activities in accordance with established company procedures and project management standards. Develop detailed and accurate proposals using internal technical resources and input from the Sales and Engineering teams. Maintain and monitor a log of all active requests for quotation, ensuring timely delivery and communication of any scheduling or resource conflicts. Prepare and include compliance documents for specifications received with RFQs, addressing exceptions and clarifications as needed. Utilize company quote tools to calculate labor and material costs for new projects and change orders. Ensure proposals are conceptually sound, clearly define deliverables, and align with company terms of payment and completion standards. Enter and maintain proposal data in the company QuoteLog system, tracking status and key project details. Review customer purchase orders for consistency with quoted terms and report any discrepancies to management. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of quoting tools, templates, and estimating processes. Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed to support sales and relationship development. What you'll need to succeed... Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required. Prior experience in estimating, sales, project coordination, or technical proposal development preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and clarity. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD; familiarity with VBA or Visual Basic is a plus. Basic understanding of industrial controls, automation systems, and related components. Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic. Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and customer service. Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to continuous enhancement efforts. Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
