Description

ABOUT MEDFORD WELLINGTON:

Medford Wellington is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer dedicated to building strong customer relationships and supporting equipment replacement along with service and maintenance needs. In this role, you’ll evaluate existing HVACR systems to recommend like-for-like replacements, promote maintenance agreements, and cross-sell services from other departments. Please note that project management responsibilities require prior approval from management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture customer relationships to understand and address their equipment replacement, service, and maintenance needs.
  • System Evaluation & Recommendations: Assess existing HVACR systems, identify opportunities for like-for-like replacement, and advise customers accordingly.
  • Sales & Cross-Selling: Sell maintenance agreements and promote additional services provided by various departments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues while also managing responsibilities independently, adhering to project management guidelines as approved by management.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must hold one or more trade licenses (Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC/R trade)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • EPA Certification
  • OSHA 10 Certification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift an average of 50 lbs on a daily basis
  • Capacity to safely operate all equipment listed in the job description
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and walking

Desired Skills and Attributes

  • Willingness to continually advance skills in Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC/R trades
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
