Description

We are looking for self-motivated, results-driven individuals with a background in engineering or biomedical fields who are eager to enhance their technical competencies in a sales-oriented role within the medical industry. Join us as a Sales Engineer and gain hands-on experience in both sales and technical aspects of medical devices, take ownership of your projects and make a tangible impact in a growing, close-knit team.
This position is structured as 80% sales and 20% engineering . You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, driving sales growth, and expanding market share, while providing technical support where required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Biomedical), with a strong interest in the medical industry.
  • Prior experience in sales and technical support of medical devices or related industries is an advantage. Candidates with biomedical engineering experience but without sales exposure will also be considered.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Able to work independently with self-discipline, while also being a good team player.
  • Good organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales support, including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair.
  • Perform basic electrical safety testing, including leakage current and power output tests using diagnostic tools.
  • Liaise with biomedical engineering departments in healthcare institutions to ensure proper commissioning and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Investigate product complaints and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio to effectively market solutions and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify market opportunities, acquire new customers, and grow market share while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
  • Drive brand and product awareness among clinics, hospitals, and healthcare professionals through regular visits to target accounts.
  • Organize and conduct in-service demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for users.
  • Provide clinical support to surgeons in the operating theatre for product usage.
  • Prepare quotations and manage submission of tender documents.
