Overview As a Sales Engineer, you are an integral partner in the sales cycle assisting the GTM (Go-To-Market) Sales Organization by presenting both platform and service offerings to establish confidence in Rithum’s technology infrastructure and to overcome all technical objections in the sales cycle. You identify and understand business requirements and execute a technical sales strategy, effectively showing the solutions that address these requirements while highlighting business value. Responsibilities Increase revenue opportunities with new and expansion of existing accounts in collaboration with sales and client success teams. Support the solutions discovery process for technical, functional, and overall value proposition of our retailer and brand solutions. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proofs-of concept, strategic recommendations, and product demonstrations in person and via Zoom. Evaluate prospective and current client’s business goals, data & systems integration requirements, and recommend effective strategies to meet these needs. Communicate market feedback to product management and services for incorporation to future product developments and service offerings. Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure a positive and strategic handoff to service teams sharing documentation of goals and requirements generated during sales cycle. Participate in self-paced learning to improve understanding of all Rithum products. Stay informed regarding changes in the industry environment. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 2+ years pre-sales experience in an ecommerce environment supporting high volume, transactional applications, with a record of success in driving client adoption of technology. Strong verbal and written communications skills with a focus on discovery, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques. Experience in a technical environment, specifically dealing with data transformation/exchange. Proficient in adapting to new software tools and environments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field Understanding of marketplaces and webstores such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, Shopify, etc. Retail Media and Digital Marketing experience. Understanding of online marketing and advertising concepts. History of working with large retail clients and/or Brand Manufacturers. Technical working knowledge of API integrations (REST & SOAP).
