Description
ABOUT SECUREAUTH SecureAuth is an enterprise identity security company building the authorization layer for the agentic AI era. Our flagship Agent Authority product, built on a Microperimeter™ architecture, delivers continuous, transaction-level authorization for AI agents and non-human identities. We are backed by K1 Investment Management and partner with leading enterprises across financial services, healthcare, and the Fortune 500. THE ROLE We are hiring a Sales Engineer who is genuinely hands-on — someone who can sit across from a customer's principal engineer, whiteboard an OAuth flow, and then go build a working prototype that proves the concept. You will own technical wins on strategic Agent Authority opportunities: scoping and running proofs of concept, building demo and prototype apps, and translating between deep identity architecture and the realities of customer software delivery. This is not a slideware role. We need someone who can vibe-code a working integration in an afternoon, debug a token exchange at 11pm before a customer demo, and explain the result clearly to both a developer audience and a production operations team the next morning. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own the technical sale on Agent Authority opportunities, partnering closely with Account Executives across enterprise accounts * Scope, run, and personally execute proofs of concept end-to-end — including writing the code that makes them work * Build prototype applications and reference integrations that demonstrate Agent Authority in customer environments * Lead architecture discussions on OAuth, OIDC, token exchange, and authorization patterns with customer engineering and security teams * Translate customer requirements into product feedback for engineering and product management * Support customers through the full delivery lifecycle — design, integration, rollout, and production operations * Represent SecureAuth at customer meetings, technical workshops, and select industry events WHAT YOU'LL BRING (REQUIRED) * Hands-on technical depth — you can personally run a POC, write code, and debug issues without handing off to engineering * Proven ability to rapidly prototype applications ("vibe-coding" working demos with modern tooling and AI-assisted development) * Deep, real-world expertise in OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect — both architectural understanding and production deployment experience * Fluency with modern software delivery — CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployment, version control workflows, and the realities of getting code to production * Genuine empathy for both developers (DX, SDKs, API ergonomics) and production/operations teams (reliability, observability, blast radius) * Strong customer-facing communication — able to lead technical conversations at every level from staff engineer to CISO * U.S.-based, with East Coast location strongly preferred for FSI account coverage and time-zone alignment with key customers NICE TO HAVE * Prior experience in the cybersecurity ecosystem — IAM, identity security, NHI (non-human identity), zero trust, or agentic AI security * Familiarity with newer identity-related standards (RFC 8693 Token Exchange, RFC 9396 RAR, FAPI 2.0) * Experience with policy engines (OPA/Rego, CEL) or fine-grained authorization (Zanzibar/OpenFGA) * Experience selling or implementing in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare) WHY SECUREAUTH, WHY NOW Agent Authority is a category-defining product at the intersection of identity and AI security. You will be on the ground floor of one of the most important shifts in enterprise security — how organizations authorize AI agents to act on their behalf. The work is technical, the stakes are real, and the customers are the largest enterprises in the world.
Responsibilities
Own the technical sale for Agent Authority by scoping and executing end-to-end proofs of concept and building prototype applications. Lead architecture discussions on authorization patterns and translate customer requirements into product feedback.
