SALES ENGINEER (SINGAPORE)

Eclypsium, a leader in the firmware and supply chain security market, is actively seeking a passionate, experienced, and talented Sales Engineer to join our Sales Team and support technical sales motions. The perfect candidate has a strong technical background, primarily focused in security solutions and/or x86 equipment. They also need to possess experience supporting sales efforts in a technology focused organization. They are interested in the firmware and supply chain security space, passionate about technology, proactive, self-motivated, and a solution-oriented thinker. Join our growing team!

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Sales, Hardware Sales, or Customer Success
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Security or adjacent technologies
  • Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, Linux operating systems, x86 hardware
  • Moderate understanding of typical network appliances (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers) and their methods of administration
  • Experience with CLIs
  • Familiarity with sales engineering processes, metrics, key performance indicators, and tools (Salesforce, ZenDesk, JIRA, Confluence, etc)
  • Great communication skills, both verbally and written
  • May require up to require 50% travel
  • Strong technical aptitude and be able to pick up technical concepts rapidly.

Responsibilities
  • Be the expert in the firmware and supply chain security space.
  • Act as a customer advocate and share knowledge of the threat landscape and provide advice and leadership to customer technical teams on how to implement and leverage firmware and supply chain security solutions.
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Expected to possess strong time management and organizational skills a must
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering. The SE will be expected to be the conduit between prospects and internal teams to ensure proof-of-concept and feature requests are being appropriately managed.
  • Lead product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts with ability to present technical components from technical audiences up to C-level executives.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to customers and ensure Eclypsium is critical to its overall security program.
  • Assist solutions team with product implementation and maintenance for customers.
