Description

You’re what binds us together.   As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in Staples’ go-to-market strategy by partnering with business development teams and engaging directly with enterprise customers. You’ll lead onboarding for new clients, design scalable program solutions, and serve as a subject matter expert across Staples’ eCommerce and customer programs.   What you’ll be doing: * Lead onboarding for large new customers * Execute implementations using onboarding playbook * Manage cross-functional project calls * Support sales teams during implementation * Engage Director/VP-level stakeholders * Serve as program and eCommerce SME * Conduct customer needs discovery * Build scalable program solutions * Monitor post-implementation ramp * Improve onboarding processes   What you bring to the table: * Strong project management skills * Executive communication ability * Collaborative mindset * Customer-first approach * Analytical problem solving * Attention to detail * Technical aptitude * Ability to influence stakeholders * Adaptability * Continuous improvement mindset   What’s needed- Basic Qualifications: * 2–4 years Sales or Project Management experience * Knowledge of customer setup processes * Microsoft Office proficiency * Experience with enterprise stakeholders * Strong communication skills * Organizational skills  * Ability to travel   What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree preferred * eCommerce onboarding experience * Knowledge of set up system, Sunrise, third party punchouts, and test environments strongly preferred * Understanding of procurement and integration standards including:  * cXML  * EDI  * OCI  * Purchase Orders (PO), Purchase Order Responses (POR), Advanced Ship Notices (ASN), and e-invoicing * Experience with Staples systems   We Offer: * Inclusive culture * Flexible PTO * 112 Hours PTO * Discounts, 401k, Wellness programs The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
