This individual contributor role demands extensive expertise in network security coupled with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, covering areas such as Zero Trust, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Blockchain, IoT, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and AI/ML in Security, among others. The role involves influencing product roadmaps to meet sales objectives, collaborating with product leadership to anticipate customer needs, and aligning long-term sales plans with customers’ transformation goals. The Regional SME / Lead Technologist is a highly visible and influential position that demands strong communication and presentation skills to engage both executive-level customers and internal teams, ensuring business outcomes align with strategic priorities. Job Description Manage the Solution Design and ensure smooth Project Deployment for Major Accounts Engage with key stakeholders in Customers, Partners and escalate to internal resources whenever necessary for support Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and potential problems related to Check Point. Research, resolve and respond to questions received via telephone calls and email in a timely manner, to uplift overall services standards. Reproduces customer-reported issues and works with internal teams to provide a resolution. Conduct site visits to resolve all breakdowns and to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensures management of customer expectations and resolution of technical issues in a timely manner. Significant focus on professionalism and quality of service. To recognize the importance of customer focus and/or of serving the needs of the end-user. Be a focal point for escalation from customer and escalate un-resolving issue to relevant product team. Qualifications What you bring to the table No less than 5 years of experience in Networking Holding a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal An ability to learn new technologies quickly Strong project management and documentation skills Tech Support/ SOC experience Cloud & SaaS experience Knowledge at Checkpoint products CCNA/CCNP/CCSA or any other Network Certification will be an added advantage.
