As we continue to scale our staking and DeFi offerings, we’re looking for a dedicated Sales Engineer based on the East Coast or in New York to support our expanding Sales team. This role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between Kiln’s technical capabilities and our clients’ needs delivering seamless pre-sales support, showcasing our platform through live demonstrations, addressing technical queries and helping drive strategic growth across North America. REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably 5-8 years in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similarly client-facing technical role
  • You’re a proactive self-starter who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and taking ownership of solutions from discovery to delivery.
  • You can translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise explanations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You’re comfortable writing code, with proficiency in at least one programming language and working knowledge of JavaScript for scripting and demos.
  • You’ve built and nurtured strong relationships with customers and internal teams, earning trust as a technical advisor.
  • You excel at delivering live product demos and tailoring them to a customer’s specific needs and use cases.
  • You thrive in distributed teams and are highly effective in async, remote-first work environments.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing expert support on staking mechanics, protocol integrations, and best practices.
  • Partner with account executives to engage client-side product managers and technical stakeholders, understanding their infrastructure needs and effectively positioning Kiln’s staking solutions.
  • Deliver compelling, hands-on demonstrations of Kiln’s platform to showcase our product’s technical capabilities and differentiation.
  • Support in technical discovery conversations, collaborate on solution architecture, and support integration through to successful implementation.
  • Gather client feedback and work closely with Product and Engineering to continuously refine Kiln’s offering in line with market needs.
  • Ensure proactive and timely communication to address technical questions, unblock client decisions, and drive satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution briefs, and proof-of-concept implementations to accelerate customer understanding and adoption.
