Sales Engineer - Water Treatment

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our water treatment solutions team in the UAE. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth in the water treatment sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, generating leads, and closing deals while providing technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct client meetings and presentations to showcase water treatment solutions
  • Generate new business leads and develop existing client relationships
  • Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations
  • Close sales deals and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
  • Conduct field visits to client sites for technical assessments and demonstrations
  • Provide technical support and consultation on water treatment systems
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain client database and sales pipeline

Required QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience specifically in water treatment industry

Technical Knowledge

  • Comprehensive understanding of water treatment technologies including:
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
  • Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
  • Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
  • Filtration systems
  • Water softening solutions
  • Chemical dosing systems
  • Pumping equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
  • Understanding of water quality parameters and treatment processes

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record in lead generation and deal closure
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Target-oriented mindset with proven ability to meet sales objectives
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

Local Requirements

  • Valid UAE driving license (mandatory for field visits)
  • Knowledge of UAE/GCC water treatment market
  • Understanding of local regulations and industry standards
  • Existing network of contacts in the region (preferred)
