Sales Engineer - Water Treatment
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our water treatment division. This role requires extensive field visits across the UAE and demands a professional with proven water treatment industry experience and strong sales capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits to existing and potential clients across UAE
  • Generate new business leads through market research, networking, and cold calling
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and presentations for water treatment solutions
  • Provide technical consultation on RO systems, STP/ETP plants, filtration systems, water softening, chemical dosing, and pumping equipment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
  • Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure proper solution delivery
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Attend industry exhibitions, seminars, and networking events
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts

Essential Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience specifically in water treatment industry (MANDATORY)
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and business development

Technical Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of water treatment technologies including:
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
  • Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
  • Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)
  • Water filtration systems
  • Water softening equipment
  • Chemical dosing systems
  • Industrial pumps and related equipment
  • Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and specifications
  • Understanding of water quality parameters and treatment processes

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in client relationship management
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Goal-oriented with strong business acumen
  • Knowledge of UAE/GCC market dynamics and regulations

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid UAE/Dubai driving license (COMPULSORY) - extensive field visits required
  • Water treatment industry experience is NON-NEGOTIABLE
  • Candidates must be comfortable with salary range of AED 4,000 - 8,000 (applications outside this bracket will not be considered)
