The responsibility of the sales engineer is to assist the sales team in meeting the revenue quotas assigned to them through being the technical expert regarding Apriva’s products, relating the products to the needs of the customers and handling any technical questions or objections as it relates to the pre and post sales process. The Sales Engineer will use his or her technical skills to explain the benefits of Apriva products or services to potential customers and to show how Apriva products or services are better than their competitors’.
Many of the duties of the sales engineer are similar to those of other salespersons. He/She must interest the customer in buying Apriva’s products or services and assist in completing the sale. To do this, sales engineers give technical presentations during which they explain the technical aspects of the product and how it will solve a specific customer problem.
