Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Estimator to join a growing sales team within a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of high-quality security and access solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Welshpool.
In this role, you will be responsible for project estimation, preparing quotations, generating new sales from construction projects, and building strong relationships with clients. You’ll also work closely with customers to provide technical solutions to their specifications, as well as manage enquiries from initial contact through to contract handover.

PREFERRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Confident communicating with new and existing customers
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Estimating experience (construction/technical drawings advantageous)
  • Strong customer service focus and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and IT skills (CRM & MS Office)
  • Sales and business development experience
  • Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude
  • Knowledge of the Critical National Infrastructure sectors (desirable)
Responsibilities
  • Interpret enquiry documents and technical specifications
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and generate new business
  • Assist in delivering account-specific and overall sales targets
  • Submit compliant technical bids within deadlines
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met
  • Manage sales enquiries, quotations, and CRM updates
